The startup landscape in Central and Eastern Europe is full of potential. Every year, thousands of founders across the region build products, services and technologies that are innovative, scalable and globally relevant. But many of these projects never get the chance to grow beyond their early stages. Not because the ideas are not good enough, but because they are often invisible to the right investors.
This is the gap that InvestCEE aims to close.
I created InvestCEE with a simple mission in mind. To give startups and business projects in Central and Eastern Europe a better chance to be seen, heard and funded. There are already platforms out there for fundraising and exposure. But most of them are global, overloaded or focused on larger markets. I wanted to build something local yet accessible, curated but open, serious but approachable.
InvestCEE is not a typical listing platform. It is not a place to upload a profile and hope for the best. It is a space for selected projects that deserve attention. Each listing is manually reviewed before it goes live. Each startup is presented in a clear and structured way. No clutter, no unnecessary features, no paywalls. Just essential information that matters to potential investors.
The goal is not to collect thousands of entries. The goal is to highlight those few that are truly worth exploring.
InvestCEE is also free. There is no registration needed to browse, no hidden fees, and no restrictions. The entire platform is built on the idea that visibility should not depend on budget. If you are a founder with a strong vision and a clear message, your project deserves to be seen. If you are an investor looking for fresh ideas with untapped potential, you should be able to find them without noise.
We are starting small.
The first version of InvestCEE will focus on startups and companies from Central and Eastern Europe that are actively looking for funding, partnerships or mentoring. Over time, we plan to expand the content, include more data, and possibly offer tools to track interest and engagement. But the core idea will stay the same. Simplicity, clarity and value.
I do not come from a background in investment. I am not a venture capitalist and I do not claim to have all the answers. But I do believe that many great founders in our region are being overlooked. And that a well-designed platform can help change that.
Let us make Central and Eastern Europe more visible on the investment map. One startup at a time.
